Rosslare® controller – a reliable access control to corporate and private facilities

Today the electronic access control systems have become an integral part of the security systems of large corporate facilities. However, they can be seen with increasing frequency in small businesses, offices, apartment buildings and private houses.

The work of Access Control System (ACS) is provided by two components - managing and executing elements. The operating principle of ACS is that the managing elements "instruct" the executing device to do the opening of the door locking system.

Rosslare® controller with advanced security AYC series - is a qualitative managing element. The principal difference of the device from usual autonomous controllers is that in Rosslare® AYC there is no relay of the executing device managing of access control system: electromechanical lock, electric latch, electromagnetic lock electric bolt. Instead, the Rosslare® controller of enhanced security is used together with a special "intelligent" Rosslare® PSA25T power supply, which contains a relay for lock managing. When determining the user's access rights, when entering an authorized access code or applying an authorized access card, the controller makes a corresponding coded signal to the power supply, after what the relay for lock managing is activated and the owner is granted with the access to the premise.

It is important that this structure of the system completely eliminates unauthorized access, which can occur when using usual autonomous controllers. In such cases, the attacker is able to deactivate the lock with simple fastening the relevant wires after being disassembled the top panel of the controller. Such actions of the thief are impossible with the Rosslare® enhanced security controller AYC series, because the lock managing relay is in the power supply.
