Problem solution of the vulnerability of mechanical key, as the carrier of code information, is the use of electronic systems for keys control. Indeed, the use of conventional cabinet for keys storage with the issuance and return of keys with logs does not exclude the "human factor" with possible errors and abuses.

These keys’ control systems undertake the functions of handing-out and returning of keys, record these events in the audit trail, are capable to hand out the keys to the scheduled time and day of the week, automatically send messages about not returned key in the set time while the user and, for example, safety services employee or the head of the enterprise; form various reports of the needed for analyzing period of time.

The main aim of the keys control systems – to completely exclude the ingress of keys outside the facility, as well as any abuse on the side of unscrupulous employees: key theft, loss or unauthorized duplication.
